Week 10 was a pretty good one! I went to Allendale, Michigan! It was super cold up there but the people were the exact opposite. They were so warm-hearted people, so hospitable and they truly were some of the best people I've gotten to meet. I’m so glad I got to see the rural side of Michigan and Holland Beach and experience it with my fellow best friend who also goes to UCBA with me. My friend and I made it a plan to work hard and smart on our homework so it could be done by Thursday so we could spend as much anxiety-free time away from school as we could, and we did! It’s crazy how culture and people's attitudes can be so different just 5.5 hours north of here, but in general, I’m glad I got to experience something different! I’m appreciative that I had a small little break away from school and a 4 day huge rush of dopamine and now I am able to go back into my schooling and work with a much more positive attitude.
