Week 1
The first week as a student ambassador was great and was fun as everyone tried to figure out what we were “doing” and creating a flow. It was really nice to meet fellow Student Ambassadors I've been doing Student Orientations with and finally got to meet in person a see personalities in person. I remember hearing SOLs can eventually become family and when I got to see some of them I felt like I've known them for years now. Although it was about 6 months or so 2020 and COVID 19 has made this year feel like a decade to many.
I had the pleasure of mentoring my first class of INTRO1020 and even though Professor Witham and I met 30 minutes prior and had no clue what we were both going to do with each other and how we can best make this class easier for our students of UC Blue Ash. That being said the class ran super smoothly and instantly found each other's strength in each other along with Professor Tremain who also co-instructs the class.
I'm super excited about what this year has to offer even though it was a struggle to find my rhythm or flow through being a student, Student Ambassador, employee, and friend and family member. The week has passed and I have learned things that can help me construct a great flow and also be a better person and skills. So far, I really am enjoying being a Student Ambassador.
